Questions? We Have Answers.
Everything you need to know about booking the world's most exclusive—and expensive—cruise.
Is the Strait actually open?
For the right price and flag. We've already paid the toll, so you're covered—assuming Iran's mood doesn't shift between now and your departure date.
What if we get delayed?
Free drinks + a smug sense of superiority knowing you're not paying $150 per barrel. Plus, you'll have plenty of time to watch 150 tankers queue up while you sip cocktails.
What exactly is the $2 million fee?
That's the toll Iran charges for safe passage through the Strait. We've already paid it on your behalf. It's not refundable, non-transferable, and subject to geopolitical mood swings. Consider it the cover charge for the world's most exclusive maritime experience.
How do I book?
Call us directly at our Miami office to reserve your voyage. We'll walk you through available sailings, cabin options, and pricing. Our team handles all bookings personally—no automated systems, no surprises.
What's included in the price?
Your cabin, all meals and beverages (including those $2M margaritas), entertainment, access to the Strait Lounge with live MarineTraffic monitoring, and exclusive onboard events. The $2M toll is separate and non-negotiable. Gratuities, specialty dining, and spa services are additional.
What's your refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 60 days before departure, minus a 15% administrative fee. Within 60 days, refunds are subject to our discretion and geopolitical circumstances. If we get "projectiled" or the Strait closes unexpectedly, you'll receive a full credit toward a future sailing. The $2M toll is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Is this safe?
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most heavily monitored maritime corridors. We maintain constant communication with international naval forces, employ advanced navigation systems, and carry comprehensive maritime insurance. Our crew is trained in crisis management. That said, geopolitical conditions can change rapidly, and we recommend travel insurance.
When do sailings depart?
We operate limited sailings year-round from Miami, with increased frequency during geopolitically stable periods. The Hormuz Express typically departs in the early morning and completes the transit in 4–12 hours depending on tanker traffic and Iranian cooperation. Check our sailing schedule for current availability.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Yes. Modifications and cancellations are available up to 60 days before departure. After that, changes are subject to availability and a 25% modification fee. The $2M toll cannot be transferred to a different sailing or refunded. Contact our team for specific requests.
What about accessibility and accommodations?
Our ship features accessible cabins, elevators, and public spaces compliant with ADA standards. We offer mobility assistance, dietary accommodations, and medical services onboard. Contact us directly to discuss specific accessibility needs—we're committed to making this experience available to all travelers.
Do I need a passport or visas?
Yes. A valid passport is required for all passengers. We do not make port calls in Iran, so you won't need an Iranian visa. However, we recommend checking current travel advisories and consulting with your embassy before booking. We can provide guidance on documentation requirements.
What are your onboard policies?
Standard cruise policies apply: no weapons, controlled substances are prohibited, and passengers must comply with crew instructions at all times. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior. Given the geopolitical context, we may implement additional security protocols at our discretion.
